Ariel Kay, MBA
Managing Partner
Ariel Kay has been involved with global financial markets for more than twenty years and has a strong research and investment products background.
Before founding Safebay Capital Partners in 2013, he was a Senior Vice President at HSBC Private Banking in Miami where he managed a private banking portfolio of high net worth individuals.
He also developed portfolio management experience at Santander Private Banking from 2004-2007. He has credit research experience working in Europe where he worked at Fitch Ratings and in investment banking working for Argos Soditic, a Pan European Private Equity Fund specialized in leverage buyouts.
Ariel received a degree in International Economics from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) in Argentina and received a full scholarship to complete his MBA in international Business at Thunderbird in the US.
Martin Yanguela
Customer Relationship Manager
Martin Yanguela has more than twenty-five years in the private banking industry. He started his career at Citibank in Buenos Aires in 1988. After becoming the Branch management Director in Santander Private Banking in Argentina, he then continued his career as Vice-President in Santander Private Banking in Miami.
He then gained experience working in Uruguay with international institutions such as Lloyds and Union Banque Privee (UBP).
Martin currently works out of Buenos Aires to provide support as a relationship manager for certain Safebay Capital clients. Martin’s FINRA registration with his introducing broker dealer is as a Foreign Associate in Buenos Aires, and is separate and apart from Safebay Capital Partner’s Miami Branch.
Martin received a Publics Relationship bachelor’s degree from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADe) and received different finance certification and training while working in the US.
Leonardo Rodriguez Gamboa
Investment Advisor
Leonardo Rodriguez Gamboa has more than 7 years of experience in wealth management, as an Investment Advisor his main objective is to create value for clients, supporting the team in the preparation, coordination, and implementation of the wide variety of services that Safebay Capital offers to its clients.

Previously, Leonardo worked for 5 years at WE Family Offices, and from 2018 to 2021 for Wealth Solutions, preparing investment analysis and support for ultra-high-net-worth families (UHNW) in Latin America and the United States.
Leonardo is a BA in Accounting from Florida International University and a registered financial advisor (Series 65).
Esteban Caro, MSF
Analyst
Esteban Caro is an Analyst at Safebay Capital, bringing a solid foundation in financial analysis and asset management. He holds a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Miami, where he graduated with distinction, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
At Safebay Capital, Esteban contributes to portfolio management and investment analysis, leveraging his expertise in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
Esteban is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and is currently pursuing his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses to further deepen his knowledge and skills in wealth management.

Piero Velasquez
Account Manager - Bolton Global Capital
Piero Velasquez has been with Bolton Global Capital since 2018. Prior to Bolton, he was a Financial Solutions Advisor at Merrill Edge in Michigan. Piero has also worked at Fifth Third Bank and SunTrust Bank. Piero is a graduate of Seminole State College of Florida. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Phil Grenier
Trading Department - Bolton Global Capital
Phil Grenier currently manages Bolton Global Capital’s trading desk which is responsible for fixed income, options, FX, and equity trading. He has 16 years of industry experience. Phil graduated from New England Conservatory, and holds an MBA from Suffolk University in Boston, MA. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
